This is my fifth year as Vice-Principal and teacher of Grade Four or Five at Fairview.  It is a a pleasure to teach and lead at such a dynamic and special place.  I am looking forward to this school year with anticipation and hoping that Covid restrictions will be loosened enough to allow students, staff and parents to gather for monthly assemblies, attend parent-student-teacher conferences and our Grade Fives have the opportunity to spend two days at Grade Five camp in early June.  

I have been happily married for 25 years, to my lovely wife Renee.  We have three kids; Drew, who lives and works in Edmonton; Cade, who has transferred to U of A, and Paige, who will be attending RDC.  We also have three other members of our household, the four legged type, Lily, Oliver and Henley.   

I enjoy spending time outside and puttering around the yard when the weather permits. Walking the dogs or walking in the evenings with Renee allows me to unwind and reflect on my work day.  Reading allows me to escape to other places and immerse myself in adventures or mysteries so I always have a good book available.
