FOCUS TEACHER...

Every student has a Teacher who works closely with the student while they are at Hunting Hills. The “FOCUS” is an advocate for the student, stays in contact with parents, monitors progress and attendance, and acts as a mentor. Registration and course selections are done with the help of their Focus Teacher.

PREPARING STUDENTS FOR THE FUTURE...

Whether students continue their education or go directly to the world of work, Hunting Hills prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

EXTRACURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES... 

There are many opportunities for students to come out and get involved in activities and events around the school.

FACILITIES, TECHNOLOGY & EQUIPMENT...

Our facilities are second to none and have all the features of a school of the future including state of the art technology; conventional, large group, and independent teaching areas; two large gyms and an outstanding fitness center; bright and spacious multi-station science lab; over 400 computers with Internet access; library with electronic searching and information sources; exceptional fine arts facilities in drama, music, art; and a large student gathering area with the finest cafeteria food service. Technology is an integral part of the programs at Hunting Hills. Computers are used in the school to assist with tracking students' marks and attendance; communication within the school; locate and use of a variety of sources; assisting staff and student learning using a variety of software, and for course delivery and instruction.

SCHOOL COUNCIL...  

Hunting Hills has an active School Council with parents, students, and staff participating to help achieve the goals of the school. The School Council typically meets on the last Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in working on the School Council, please come out to the September meeting or call the school office at 403-342-6655.
