I graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2008, and spent the next ten years teaching within Red Deer Public Schools. I completed my Masters in Educational Leadership from the City University of Seattle in 2016. During that time, I explored the many facets of education, and became an advocate for the health and well being of my students and colleagues. Over the course of my career, I primarily taught Physical Education, English Language Arts and Sports Medicine. I have coached many teams and am a huge supporter of extracurricular activities for all students. Most recently, I have also spent time working within Instructional Design focusing on Literacy and Numeracy initiatives that support student learning. I am looking forward to being the Vice Principal of GW Smith students this year!
