Mr. Harley Hay is the writer, producer and director of 18 original films (1990 - 2009) and screenwriter for 19 film productions (2002 - 2009). 

• Law Clerk Diploma (with Distinction) 1978
• Bachelor of Education (with Distinction) 1982, and Screenwriting Expo in 2003
• Is currently a columnist for the Red Deer Advocate, and author of “Finding Time” as well as owner of Puzzle Factory Films and Harley Hay Studios
• Has won awards for:
  • Writer - “1969” - Short Drama Screenplay - International Family Film Festival (2004)
  • Writer - “Sanctuary” - Finalist - International Family Film Festival Short Screen Play (2003)
  • Writer - “Sanctuary” - Top 50 Gem International Short Screen Competition (2003)
  • Associate Producer - “Naked Frailties” - Nominated for 5 AMPIA Awards (1996)

Kathy Lacey  (nee Donald)

Kathy Lacey is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the residents of Red Deer, AB. 

• Bachelor of Education in 1979 and was a teacher in Red Deer and area from 1979 – 2006
• Volunteer activities:
• Member of the Festival of Trees Committee since its inception in 1993 raising 5.8 million dollars for the Red Deer Regional Hospital
• Member of the Foundation for Red Deer Public School from 1994 - 2003
• Westerner Park Board of Directors. 
• Has received many awards including:  Red Deer Public School District - Friend of Education (1998), Sport Volunteer of Merit (2004), Mel Osborne Fellowship Award (2005), Alberta Centennial Award (2005), Westerner Park Life Volunteer (2005)
