Red Deer Public celebrates Pride Month

Pride Month will be celebrated across Red Deer Public Schools starting June 1, 2024.

Pride Month represents our Board’s commitment to fostering a safe and respectful teaching and learning environment for all students and staff. By officially acknowledging Pride Month as a Division, we affirm our support for the celebrations that already occur within our schools.

Each school will mark Pride Month in its own unique way, with the Division providing resources and support to facilitate these important events. This approach empowers schools to design activities that reflect their individual communities and values.
