What to expect

An open house is your chance to get a feel for the school and to start planning for the next school year.

Before the event:

• Review the information on the school's website (programs, subjects, supports, extracurriculars, sports)
• Make a list of qualities that are important to your family
• Have questions prepared to ask teachers or school administration
• Have your child join you at this event

During the event:

• Short program in the gymnasium
  • Introductions to the Principal, Vice Principal(s), and other key members of the school
  • Learn about the programs and supports offered at the school
  • Learn about how you can be involved in School Council
• Tour the school
  • Meet the staff 
  • View classrooms and other spaces
